Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Reservations Manager in Key West to maximize room revenue and oversee the Reservations Department’s daily activities. You will lead staff, monitor competitive pricing, and coordinate with revenue strategy meetings to optimize occupancy and rate integrity.

The role requires a 4-year degree or related hotel experience, strong Windows/Excel skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree, or a 2-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or at least two to three years of related hotel experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.
• Attend daily and weekly Revenue Strategy meetings.
• Follow the Revenue Strategy program according to SOP.
• Review arrivals report and daily flash report for accuracy.
• Be proficient in PMS functions used by Reservations.
• Monitor competitors for occupancy and rate; adjust as needed.
• Ensure staff can communicate hotel information to callers.
• Prepare monthly revenue and occupancy forecasting.
• Know and follow rate quoting standards.
• Process daily payroll sheets and schedule staff accordingly.
