Job summary

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts in the United States (Kentucky) seeks a Reservations Agent to deliver exceptional guest service, manage inquiries, and coordinate with hotel departments for seamless stays. You will enter details accurately, handle modifications, and upsell services to enhance guest experiences.

Ideal candidates hold a hospitality degree, have 1–3 years of luxury reservations exposure, and are fluent in English and Greek.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in luxury hotel reservations, ideally within a high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and proficiency in using computer systems and software.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Experience in sales and upselling to promote additional services and packages effectively.
• Proficiency in English and Greek (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservations calls and emails, providing excellent customer service and accurately entering guest details into the reservation system.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding room availability, rates, amenities, and promotions.
• Assist guests with modifications or cancellations to existing reservations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests and special arrangements are communicated and implemented.
• Process payment transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and financial documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
• Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy, working toward a satisfactory resolution.
