Job summary

Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark is seeking a Reservationist to provide friendly, professional guest service and handle bookings via phone, email, and in person. You will manage reservations, cancellations, and confirmations while promoting upgrades and resort packages to optimize occupancy.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and basic Windows/booking systems skills. Hospitality experience is a plus, with weekend availability considered essential for coverage at the resort.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills focused on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle multiple reservations efficiently.
• Excellent guest service mindset with professional phone etiquette and email responses.
• Comfort with using computer booking systems and Windows-based tools.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.

Are you a people-person who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark is seeking a detail-oriented Reservationist to join our hospitality team! You'll be the voice of the resort, creating unforgettable guest experiences from the very first call while ensuring smooth and professional reservation services.

Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old and have WEEKEND availability.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver Outstanding Service: Provide friendly, professional service to all guests, responding to inquiries, requests, and complaints with care and efficiency.
• Manage Reservations: Handle booking and cancellation requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring accurate data entry and guest confirmations.
• Maximize Revenue: Use suggestive selling techniques to promote room upgrades and resort packages while optimizing occupancy levels.
• Stay Informed: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, resort amenities, and promotions to provide guests with helpful information.
• Communication Excellence: Collaborate with other departments, ensuring guest needs are communicated and met seamlessly.
• Maintain a Professional Space: Keep the front desk and office area organized and presentable to reflect our high standards.
