Position Overview and Responsibilities:

As a Revenue Analyst, you will support the Revenue Management team by analyzing business trends, maintaining pricing and inventory data, and providing insights that maximize hotel revenue across all revenue streams. Working closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, you will evaluate business performance, identify revenue opportunities, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical data.

This role will assist in forecasting demand, preparing analytical reports, monitoring competitive market activity, and supporting pricing and inventory strategies. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate is eager to learn the revenue management discipline and contribute to data-driven decisions that optimize revenue, profitability, and overall business performance.

Revenue Analysis & Reporting
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reporting.
  • Analyze booking pace, market trends, and demand patterns.
  • Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and other KPIs.
  • Assist in making reservations as needed
  • Prepare reports identifying revenue opportunities.
  • Support pricing analysis and recommendations.
Forecasting & Market Analysis
  • Assist in maintaining forecasts.
  • Review historical performance and booking trends.
  • Identify revenue opportunities through data.
  • Support inventory and rate decisions.
Systems & Data Management
  • Maintain accurate rate and inventory information.
  • Ensure report and system accuracy.
  • Audit reservations, rate codes, and pricing integrity.
  • Learn revenue management systems.
  • Work closely with Reservations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Participate in weekly revenue meetings.
  • Communicate findings clearly.
  • Support special projects.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Improve analytical skills.
  • Stay informed on industry trends.
  • Identify process improvements.
Other Duties:
  • Attend weekly Revenue Meetings.
  • Attend Forecast Meetings as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
  • Normal office conditions in an air-conditioned environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required
Work Hours:
  • Flexible schedules as needed.
  • Must be available to work more than 50 hours per week
Equipment Use:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
