• Prior hotel, front office, reservations, or Night Audit experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
• Ability to handle financial transactions and balance daily activity.
• Ability to multitask and remain professional during busy periods.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel reservation and property management systems.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work the required daytime and overnight schedule.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist guests with reservations, questions, requests, and hotel information.
• Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations while providing accurate information regarding hotel amenities, availability, and services.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation options, in-house groups, and upcoming functions.
• Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs in a courteous and professional manner.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests and concerns are handled promptly.
• Complete the hotel’s nightly audit and verify Front Desk transactions.
• Balance daily financial transactions, credit card activity, cash transactions, and guest accounts.
• Post applicable charges and finalize transactions completed throughout the day.
• Prepare, print, file, and distribute required Night Audit reports.
• Prepare registration materials for arriving guests and folios for departing guests.
• Monitor room availability and assist with reservation and room assignment needs.
• Answer and direct hotel phone calls, take messages, and process wake-up call requests.
• Follow hotel procedures related to guest payments, security, keys, and emergency situations.
• Communicate guest concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate department and follow up as needed.
• Maintain a professional, organized work environment and provide exceptional service during both daytime and overnight shifts.
