Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Reservation Manager Agent to join a fast-paced team and provide outstanding customer service. The role focuses on reservation placement, equipment distribution, and supporting field teams and dealerships to balance regional inventory.

You will work under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations and satisfying customers in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with office equipment and basic software.
• Strong customer service, time management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Help support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, balancing regional inventory to meet demand.
• Review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations and contracts.
• Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.

Reservation Manager Agent Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Help support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, while directing incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status in order to help balance regional market inventory levels to meet future demand.
• Review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations and contracts that support creating equipment availability and accuracy.
• Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word and email
• Proficient in customer service, time management and multitasking
