Job summary

U-Haul in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Part-Time Reservation Manager Agent who thrives in a fast-paced team environment. You will support customers, field teams and dealerships by handling reservations, equipment placement, and inventory balancing to meet demand.

Under the Traffic Control Manager, you will review reports, assist with U-Box products, and help ensure accurate reservations and contracts. Nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with office equipment including multiline phones.
• Strong customer service, time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Support field teams and dealerships with equipment and reservation management.
• Direct incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to balance regional inventory levels.
• Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.

Reservation Manager Agent Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Help support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, while directing incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status in order to help balance regional market inventory levels to meet future demand.
• Review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations and contracts that support creating equipment availability and accuracy.
• Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word and email
• Proficient in customer service, time management and multitasking
