Researcher Associate, Artificial General Intelligence

Key job responsibilities
  • Maintain and follow strict confidentiality guidelines as customer privacy is our top priority.
  • Work with a wide range of data types including text, speech, image, and video.
  • Deliver high-quality labeled data using in-house tools, software, and guidelines to meet KPIs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Machine Learning (ML) data workflows.
  • Research, rank responses based on factual and grammatical accuracy, and create grammatically correct annotations for text, speech, image, and video.
  • Make sound judgments and logical decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Switch rapidly between different tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Handle end-to-end data execution processes related to LLM labeling tasks.
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality.
  • Identify and escalate operational issues within processes, SOPs, and tools.
  • Suggest ways to invent, simplify, and unblock operational workflows.
A day in the life

You will assess and improve AI model performance by undertaking foundational labeling functions such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Your concentration, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail will help you deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and following Amazon policies. You will be part of a diverse team aiming to make significant advances in AI and technology. Creativity, individuality, and drive are highly valued.

Basic Qualifications
  • An Associate’s Degree or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with demonstrated task execution ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a typing speed of >50 wpm.
  • Ability to leverage open-source resources for research.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances.
  • A sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to meet daily deadlines.
  • This role requires candidates to be onsite full-time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Exposure to US culture.
  • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple teams.
  • Prior experience in machine learning.
