Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field with research experience.
• Experience in basic science or clinical research settings, minimum two years.
• Ability to work with research animals and handle standard lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• CONDUCTS RESEARCH: study Alzheimer's disease, neuropsychiatric disorders and microbiome using transgenic mice.
• PERFORMS PROCEDURES: perform drug treatment, behavioral tests, stereotactic procedures and tissue collection.
• PREPARES RESEARCH PAPERS: contribute figures, methods and data for manuscripts and grants.
• OTHER: perform all other duties as assigned.
