An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Research Technologist to join their dynamic team in the Department of Neurology. This exciting role involves conducting cutting-edge research on peripheral neuropathies, utilizing both in vitro and animal models. The Department of Neurology is seeking a Research Technologist for the laboratory of Dr. Ahmet Hoke. Dr. Hoke's laboratory studies the pathogenesis of peripheral neuropathies using in vitro and animal models of diabetes and chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. The individual in this position will be able to independently pursue new projects as well as work collaboratively with the other members of the lab, including Principal Investigators, post-docs, graduate students, and other technicians on ongoing projects. In addition to performing laboratory experiments, ongoing responsibilities will include the management of several transgenic mouse colonies and assisting with laboratory operations.

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Johns Hopkins University’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, education/training and other qualifications.
