Job description

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading-edge, patient care is world class and caregivers are family. Here, you will work alongside a passionate and dedicated team, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.

The Rao Lab studies how circadian clocks regulate retinal neurovascular development, function, and disease. Using the mouse eye as a model, the lab investigates how neurons and blood vessels interact during development and how this coordination is influenced by internal timing mechanisms. Their research focuses on identifying molecular targets of circadian regulation within the retinal neurovascular unit and understanding how disruption of these rhythms affects retinal health. Ultimately, the lab aims to uncover mechanisms that could be leveraged to develop novel therapies applicable to multiple tissues throughout the body.
