Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Research Technician II for the Bambouskova Lab. The candidate should have experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or related fields. The lab studies metabolism and immune cell activation and uses classical techniques with systems approaches.

Responsibilities include assisting with studies, documenting results, preparing materials, and maintaining equipment. Some safety and animal care responsibilities are noted.

Responsibilities

• Assists with research studies, experiments and assays, including data collection, solution preparation and setup/maintenance of equipment.
• Performs data entry and maintains data files on research.
• Prepares tissue cultures, reagents, probes, tests, etc.
• Complies with established safety procedures and maintains documentation on laboratory and specimen conditions.
• Ensures lab conditions and equipment are cleaned and maintained according to procedures.
• Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
