Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis in St. Louis is seeking a Research Technician to assist with studies in the Link laboratory. You will support data collection, tissue culture, and assay preparation in a collaborative setting and gain exposure to mouse models and genomic techniques.

The ideal candidate has up to one year in a lab, strong attention to documentation, and a willingness to perform routine lab tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• No specific certification required.
• No specific work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with research studies, experiments and assays, data collection, solution preparation, and equipment setup.
• Performs data entry and maintains data files on research.
• Prepares tissue cultures, reagents, probe tests.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains documentation.
• Maintains and cleans lab equipment and conditions.
• Assists with general lab maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
