As a Research Technician, you will work hands-on with laboratory animals, performing daily care, clinical observations, sample collections, dosing, and data recording. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30a - 2:30p
Holiday and weekend rotation
Pay Rate: Starts at $23 / hour
Responsibilities include reviewing SOPs, participating in SOP writing, maintaining compliance with all policies and regulations, and performing various in-life study procedures such as dosing, sample collection, monitoring, and surgical assistance, as detailed in the original description.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as an Animal Care Technician (for promotion), and preferred degrees in science fields. Experience with animals is preferred.
Skills required include technical ability, knowledge of laboratory procedures, self-starting, and reliability.
The role also involves physical activity and working under conditions involving potential hazards, with appropriate safety measures.
