The Research Technician will support the BASE Lab and PI Dr. Nicholas Wagner on multiple externally funded research projects that broadly focus on understanding the systems and processes that promote psychosocial adaptation or contribute to the emergence of psychopathology from early childhood through adolescence.

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Assisting PI and other lab members with day-to-day lab operations
  • Provide basic support to the onboarding and support of undergraduate research assistants
  • Assist with participant recruitment and scheduling
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between research groups within the lab and with collaborators
  • Collect behavioral, observational, and psychobiological data (including on some weekends and evenings).
  • Assist with study data, including data cleaning, processing, and analysis
  • Work with lab PI and others to oversee laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Assist with IRB and grant submissions, contribute to research dissemination
  • Assist with lab website and social media accounts
  • Other activities in support of the normal functions of a research lab
Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience; preference for Psychology, Neuroscience, Statistics, Project Management, Public Health, or related.
