Job description

The Azizoglu laboratory studies the body-wide control of organ growth and regeneration. We are seeking a research technician to perform research tasks in the lab as well as help with lab management duties.

1. Research tasks will include:
2. Mouse colony organization and breeding
3. Molecular assays (nucleic acid isolation, PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, RNA in situ hybridization)
4. Tissue collections and processing (dissections, sectioning, immunohistochemistry)
5. Microscopy (confocal and light-sheet imaging)
6. Primary cell culture (dissections for cell collections, FACS)
7. Data analysis

This position will require animal handling.
