Position Summary
We are seeking a Research Technician to join the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics on a full-time temporary contract. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge structural biology research that focuses on lipid transport mechanisms in malaria parasites. The technician will provide technical support for the laboratory’s day-to-day operations by assisting with molecular cloning, recombinant protein expression and purification, and sample preparation for cryo-EM studies, while maintaining clear and organized lab records. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for general lab organization, preparing buffers, and ordering lab supplies.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
