Posting Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist III in the Public Health Research Institute within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Research Operations Assistant Director, the Research Teaching Specialist III conducts research activities in diagnostic microbiology within a specialized biosafety level three (BSL3) containment laboratory. Assists the Principal Investigator with budgetary, lab maintenance, training and administrative responsibilities, income revenue streams.

Mid Range Salary: $73,603.00
Maximum Salary: $87,239.00

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 or the applicable provisions of relevant collective negotiations agreements, this position requires a fully on‑site work arrangement and may be eligible for a compressed workweek or a flex workday schedule. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, are subject to change or discontinuation, and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the FlexWork@RU Application System.
