Rutgers University’s Rutgers Cancer Institute is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist I to manage translational cancer biology projects within the Cancer Pharmacology lab. Under the PI's guidance, the RTS I will lead experiments, supervise staff, and ensure efficient laboratory operations focused on tumor microenvironment signaling and therapy resistance in prostate cancer.

• Minimum Education and Experience: PhD in Pharmaceutical and/or Pharmaceutical Research or relevant area of study, plus 1 year of prostate cancer research experience; or Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical and/or Pharmaceutical Research or relevant area of study plus four (4) years of relevant research experience, including one (1) year of prostate cancer research experience.

Responsabilidades

• Laboratory Management & Project Oversight: meets with PI to establish goals, timelines; oversees daily lab operations; designs layout of facilities.
• Experimental Execution & Technical Leadership: designs and executes complex procedures in pharmaceutical sciences and cancer biology, including in vivo mouse tumor studies; supervises staff; trains personnel.
• Grantsmanship & Fiscal Support: assists with grant proposals, progress reports, and budget forecasting.
