Qualifications

• Requires a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equal graduate degree, postdoctoral experience, a demonstrated record of significant research achievement, the potential to make substantial contributions as an independent investigator, a commitment to teaching medical and graduate students, and mentorship of trainees. An outstanding publication record, consistent with the candidate’s training and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain an externally funded research program in areas related to pharmacology and disease biology.
• Teach medical and graduate students and mentor trainees; participate in departmental, school, and university service.
• Collaborate with other departments and institutes at Rutgers to advance translational research objectives.
