University at Buffalo’s Language Learning Lab seeks a part-time Research Support Specialist in the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences to assist with research involving elementary school students.

You will administer assessments in schools, enter and score data, prepare tasks for data collection, and perform general administrative duties under supervision.

Qualifications

BA in Communication Disorders, Linguistics, Psychology, Education or related field.
A valid Class D driver's license is required, or ability to meet transportation requirements including travel to school testing sites.
Experience with elementary school students or human subjects research preferred.

Position Summary

Prof. Alison Hendricks in the Department of Communicative Disorders andSciences seeks a part-time Research SupportSpecialist to assist with research involving elementaryschool students. The UB Language Learning Lab conducts research onhow elementary school students learn language. We are passionateabout making sure that all students are being correctly identifiedso that they can get the help they need to be successful.

Assigned tasks of the Research Support Specialist may include:
