Job summary

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. seeks a Research Support Assistant III for the NYS Psychiatric Institute's Center of Excellence for Cultural Competence (CECC). This full-time role supports research and administrative tasks under experienced faculty.

Responsibilities cover participant recruitment, data handling, literature reviews, and preparing reports. Minimum qualifications include a public health/science degree, qualitative methods experience, and REDCap proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Experience with qualitative methods and literature searches.
• Experience with REDCap or similar data capture platforms.

Responsibilities

• Recruit research participants and conduct screenings.
• Assist with data collection, including assessments and interviews.
• Transcribe interviews and maintain records.
• Data entry and ongoing quality review.
• Code and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Prepare grant applications and literature reviews.
• Assist with study reports and presentations.
