The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a Research Support Assistant Level II to contribute to coordination of etiological and interventional studies in schizophrenia and related disorders.

This full-time role is located at 1051 Riverside Drive, New York, NY 10032. Responsibilities include creating data collection instruments, data entry, coordinating with research subjects, assisting with grant and manuscript work, and supporting senior investigators.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Willing to be certified for phlebotomy.

Salary: $44,574 -$53,143

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is Seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time position as a Research Assistant to contribute to the coordination of etiological and interventional research studies in individuals with schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Creating data collection instruments and performing data entry
• Interacting with research subjects including calls for scheduling, taking vital signs measurements, phlebotomy (blood draws) and sample processing, performing on site urine pregnancy and drug tests, assisting with MRI scans and other study-specific procedures
• Performing general clerical work (file research documents, organize patient charts, obtain medical records)
• Assisting with grant, protocol and manuscript writing
• Providing direct assistance to the Associate Director and Director
• Conducting other work related to the implementation and maintenance of clinical research studies

Occasional brief remote weekend work (participant phone calls

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelors' degree
• Willing to be certified for phlebotomy
• (2) year commitment

Preferred Qualifications

• CITI GCP/HSR certifications
• Interest or experience in human subjects research.
• Training and experience with data entry and use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be well-organized and have excellent interpersonal skills
