Responsibilities

• Plan and run experiments after discussion with investigators.
• Modify protocols within parameters set by investigators when needed.
• Interpret results, read controls, and evaluate outcomes.
• Train and orient new staff in the laboratory.
• Assist in development of new techniques and instruments.
• Review published methods relevant to current work.
• Process analyzed data into figures for publications.
• Order equipment and interface with vendors as needed.
• Contribute to writing manuscripts and grants by describing methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
