Job summary

The Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders seeks a Research Specialist to oversee recruitment, consent, and data collection for ongoing studies. You will coordinate participant visits, manage data entry, and support a multidisciplinary team in a grant-funded program.

Responsibilities include facilitating interviews, assisting with sleep and activity measures, and contributing to progress reports while ensuring ethical standards and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in psychology, neuroscience, sociology or related field.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in a research project or related clinical setting.
• Experience with human subjects research with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Clinical trials or interventional research experience (including drug trials) preferred.
• Experience with data platforms and databases preferred.
• Experience conducting informed consent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute research protocol functions including recruitment, scheduling, informed consent, data entry via questionnaires, and interviews.
• Explain actigraphy and sleep data collection devices and coordinate shipping/retrieval of devices.
• Support study staff and Principal Investigator in study activities and NIH progress reports.
