Job summary

Eight Sleep is looking for a hands-on, highly organized Research Associate to manage research studies for the company, including internal product validation, prototype testing, new feature development, and large-scale external validation studies.

You will perform hands-on data collection, handle study logistics, and maintain frequent communication with subjects to ensure high-quality results while following human research practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience running human factors research or in-person studies.
• Experience with prototype hardware, software, Google Suite, and command line tools.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Human Physiology, Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science (or related field).

Responsibilities

• Recruit subjects for internal studies and build beta tester databases for improved efficiencies and workflows.
• Manage day-to-day operation of research studies, from IRB submissions, recruitment, scheduling, reminder emails and calls, equipment ordering, etc.
• Maintain accurate study records and regulatory documentation in accordance with IRB and HIPAA guidelines.
