Job summary

Global Credit Union in Anchorage seeks a Research Specialist II to handle member account inquiries and resolve problems with accuracy and courtesy. You will process verifications, research transactions, and prepare documents for lending and operations teams.

This role requires strong math and accounting instincts, clear communication, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Tenure-based progressions are described in our policy, with a base salary range of $40,241 to $57,142 and

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication with members and colleagues on complex account issues.
• Aptitude for math and general accounting.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, solve problems, exercise good judgment and pay attention to detail.
• Well organized and adaptable to new policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process account verifications with member authorization.
• Process research requests and retrieve credit union records for operations or compliant requests.
• Provide account status letters and documents as required.
• Provide Quickshot reports to lending departments on request.
• Support branches and other departments with technical assistance.
• Research specific transactions and resolve problems, communicating results to members or staff.
• Perform transaction adjustments and file maintenance as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
