Job summary

University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology seeks a Research Services Manager for the IDiA Lab. The role coordinates multi-site projects involving data acquisition, deidentification, clinical data management, and database upkeep, with budget oversight and staff supervision.

Candidate will oversee regulatory compliance, DUAs, and collaboration with national and international partners, driving initiatives in AI-assisted imaging research across cancer, neurology, and chronic diseases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience and/or leading a team.
• Project management experience required.
• Experience with grant proposal development and budget planning/management.
• Experience with research compliance including IRB protocols and data use agreements (DUAs).
• Preferred: research in medicine/radiology and familiarity with AI/ML methods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert and liaison; update stakeholders on timelines.
• Develop operating policies to comply with regulations and unit objectives.
• Assist with budget development and auditing for projects.
• Design, monitor and execute project-specific experiments; resolve technical issues.
• May supervise day-to-day activities of staff and manage personnel issues.
• Prepare research presentations for internal/external audiences.
• Assist with grant proposals and renewals; manage data use agreements.
