Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corp. is seeking a highly motivated chemist to join our Innovation Center to develop novel lipid and polymer molecules for RNA and gene delivery formulations. The role spans from R&D to scale-up with emphasis on scalable synthesis and analytical characterization.

PhD in organic, polymer, or lipid chemistry is required, with at least one year of post-doctoral experience. Strong communication and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PhD in organic, polymer, or lipid chemistry from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1 year post-doctoral experience; GMP experience a plus.
• Proven publications or patents; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize novel organic and lipid/polymer molecules for RNA delivery platforms.
• Develop scalable processes for lipid-based drug delivery and LNP formulations.
• Characterize and interpret data from HPLC, LC-MS, and NMR analyses.
• Maintain lab and inventories per good laboratory practices.
