This position is located at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in North Austin.## PurposePosition will assist in mineral resource assessment and characterization studies, especially aggregate and industrial mineral mapping initiatives. The position will assist with the Mineral Resource Program tasks utilizing GIS, Satellite imagery and database development for generating geologic maps.## Responsibilities* Assist in mineral resource assessment, characterization and mapping efforts. 50%* Assist with the Mineral Resource Program tasks utilizing GIS, Satellite imagery and database development. 25%* Drafting and producing geologic maps, reports, and data associated with mineral resource projects. 25%## Required QualificationsMS in Geology or related discipline with no experience or BS in Geology or related discipline with at least 2 years related experience.
