Research Scientist Analytical Development
Position Overview:
As a Research Scientist at Bayer, you will play a crucial role in driving new product development for global markets. With guidance from the Analytical Development Management, you will design and execute analytical experiments of medium complexity, focusing on method development, validation, and transfer to manufacturing sites/CMOs. Your expertise will ensure that analytical procedures meet current regulatory requirements and can be effectively implemented at manufacturing sites. You will interpret results, derive conclusions, and document learnings to share knowledge with teams. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the Analytical Development group to deepen the understanding of the chemistry underlying new products. Your role will involve preparing product specifications, planning stability studies, prioritizing work to meet project milestones, and ensuring compliance with written procedures and analytical laboratory practices. You will also draft and review SOPs, OIs, and other relevant documents, and effectively present experimental findings to colleagues from diverse scientific backgrounds.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $99,253.06 - $148,879.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
