Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract job with a client in Morristown, NJ(Remote). You will lead the design of federated learning systems and predictive models to drive personalized care and improve patient outcomes.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $79/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Scientist job responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of AI/ML and generative AI solutions to enhance digital health platforms and improve patient outcomes.

  • Design and implement federated data management and learning systems to ensure secure, scalable, and privacy-preserving data use.

  • Build predictive models and apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze complex healthcare datasets, including clinical and behavioral data.

  • Develop robust data engineering pipelines to ensure data quality, governance, and interoperability across systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent features into patient- and caregiver-facing digital tools.

  • Continuously evaluate and validate machine learning models to ensure clinical relevance, scalability, and performance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Biostatistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years in data management and statistical modeling, with at least 2 years in AI/ML solution development.

  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments using Python, R, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, privacy regulations, and experience working with clinical and non-clinical healthcare datasets.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $79.00 per hour
