Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated invites a Research Scientist to advance power and thermal management technologies for military and commercial use. You will design, build, and validate prototypes while collaborating across teams to define requirements and pathways.

Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field (0–5 years of experience; higher experience considered)
  • Strong technical background in heat transfer and fluid dynamics
  • Hands-on laboratory and experimental research experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and technical problem-solving
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, Workbench) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and developing cutting-edge technologies
  • US citizenship due to access restrictions.

What You’ll Do:

Salary Range:

$90,800.00-$121,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
