Would you like to work with radiology research teams across the NENC region to actively manage project specific activities, ensuring identified milestones and targets are met? Do you enjoy coordinating varied management, steering group, and project specific meetings to ensure progress against objectives is being maintained?
You will join the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Imaging Academy, offering support and guidance to people in a variety of radiology roles from the 8 NENC Trusts. You will also work collaboratively with the NIHR Research Delivery Network Imaging Lead.
This role is 37.5 hours/week based in your own home, until 31st March 2026, flexible working considered. Secondment requests are welcome.

The focus of this role is to work with the NENC Radiology Research Lead Radiographer to encourage and support radiology-led research throughout the 8 NENC Trusts. You will support Radiology colleagues by providing education and signposting on how to convert a research idea into a working research project. Also assisting with funding applications and collating data for study set-ups.
The role will require advanced organisational skills to manage multiple projects at various stages of development with various deadlines. Applicants need to be able to analyse data to look for themes to feedback to staff verbally and in reports. You will need interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate collaborative working relationships.
You will work alongside different professionals from many different organisations involved in radiology research. An NHS and research background will help the post holder understand the context for the work.
