Job summary

Gallaudet University's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research unit seeks a Project Manager (Research) to lead and coordinate research activities in compliance with the Education of the Deaf Act. The role focuses on educators, professionals, and families of Deaf and hard of hearing students, including traditionally underserved groups.

Reporting to the Director, the incumbent will manage projects end-to-end, oversee budgets, timelines, and disseminate findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in research activities, evaluation and assessment or related field.
• Ability to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL).

Responsibilities

• Manage research projects from definition through development and dissemination; provide leadership and manage project plans.
• Determine project goals, budgets, and timelines with input from Clerc Center units and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain evaluation and research systems, programs, and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance Clerc Center priorities in Deaf education.
