Collaborative Research Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Center for Advancing Trauma Informed Care for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children, the Research Support Specialist serves as a part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals who are working to enhance the trauma informed services available to deaf and hard of hearing children across the country.
This is a grant-funded position. The incumbent is expected to participate in ongoing training to learn protactile, a tactile language among the DeafBlind community.
The successful candidate will undergo a background check that must be cleared prior to working at Gallaudet University.
