Job summary

Rutgers University—New Brunswick seeks a Research Project Coordinator I to support multiple studies within the PETS center. You will coordinate day-to-day activities, manage project teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while contributing to data collection and operational research tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, quantitative, public health, or social science discipline plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates project activities and facilitates communication across the study team, collaborators, and external stakeholders.
• Ensures the successful completion of project goals and deliverables.
• Conducts comprehensive literature reviews to support research projects and grant proposals.
• Creates code lists, data dictionaries, and data collection forms.
• Assists in the conduct of data analyses as directed by faculty and staff.
• Assists in the preparation of study reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Coordinates outcome validation activities and may include medical record abstraction.
• Creates publication quality data tables and figures.
• Prepares IRB submissions and maintains electronic regulatory binders.
