Job summary

University at Buffalo in the Department of Medicine seeks a Research Program Coordinator I to manage funded studies under the PI/Chair fixation. You will coordinate study procedures, ensure IRB compliance, train staff, and support grant activities while serving as a resource to study staff.

Responsibilities include developing electronic databases (REDCap, Excel), assisting with grant materials, and supporting data analysis with Stata or R.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a science, public health, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience, including experience with human subjects recruitment, community-based research, and manuscript development.

Responsibilities

• Study coordination, training and support for funded research.
• Oversee study procedures including recruitment, visit conduct, and retention of human subjects.
• Ensure adherence to HHS and IRB policy.
• Support training of postdocs, fellows, and students on study procedures and SOPs.
• Develop and manage electronic databases (REDCap, Excel) for studies.
• Assist with grant development, documents, and materials.
• Manage IRB processes and ClinicalTrials.gov updates.
• Support data analysis using Stata or R and disseminate findings at meetings.
• Coordinate community events and engagement activities.
• Provide administrative support for grant activities.
