Amazon’s Prime Video & Studios Research Services team is seeking a Research Operations Manager to own end-to-end survey operations, manage global panel activities, and ensure studies run on time and to spec. This hands-on role emphasizes operational excellence and collaboration with Researchers, Data Science, and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in a research field, including defining scope and timelines, managing stakeholder communication, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • 2+ years leading quantitative research projects in marketing, entertainment, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, Alchemer).
  • Proficiency across research operations: survey programming, recruitment, sampling, quotas, data cleaning, and analysis.
  • Experience managing and analyzing large data sets with tools such as Tableau, SPSS, or Python.

About the role

The Prime Video & Studios Research Services team is looking for a Research Operations Manager to join our operations team supporting customer‑focused primary research across global markets. You'll be part of the engine that makes research happen, owning the technical execution of surveys from programming through to deployment, managing panel operations, and helping build AI‑powered tools that automate our reporting workflows. You will partner closely with Consumer Insights researchers, Data Science, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure research is fielded on time, to spec, and at the highest quality. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives on operational excellence, has a passion for research methodology, and wants to be at the intersection of research and technology.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience in a research field, including defining scope and timelines, managing stakeholder communication, and coordinating cross‑functional teams
  • 2+ years leading quantitative research projects in marketing, entertainment, or related fields
  • Hands‑on experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, Alchemer)
  • Proficiency across research operations: survey programming, recruitment, sampling, quotas, data cleaning, and analysis
  • Experience managing and analyzing large data sets with tools such as Tableau, SPSS, or Python
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on the research vendor side or within the research group of a media company
  • Knowledge of television and media research methodologies (e.g. concept testing, benchmarking, awareness tracking, trailer testing)
  • Experience with panel management at a global scale
  • Working knowledge of APIs, AI tools, and automation
  • Proficiency in an additional language is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Japanese, Swedish, or Dutch)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
