Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Oncology Research assignments in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports both North and East Cancer Centers with complex patient care in a research setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana RN license, has oncology experience and is able to administer chemotherapy infusions, with the ability to work 8-10 hour shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Qualifications

• 2 year / Associate's Degree graduate from an NLN/CCNE or ACEN accredited school of nursing or two years of related nursing experience.
• RN license in Indiana (NLC) to practice in the state.
• 2 years of oncology experience preferred; some research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and execute clinical research protocols with the Principal Investigator and the research team.
• Manage patient care in the health care continuum to achieve safe, cost-effective outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate, negotiate and manage resources within the research setting.
