Houston Methodist is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse II to support, coordinate, and facilitate daily clinical trial activities with minimal supervision. The role involves direct patient care, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the research team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and RN licensure in Texas (or compact) with BLS certification, plus at least one year of acute care RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas (or compact) and permanent Texas license within 60 days
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing
• 1 year RN experience in acute care

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments
• Coordinate daily clinical trial activities with PI and trials manager
• Maintain accurate medical records and regulatory documentation
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and trial interventions
• Communicate with physicians and interprofessional team to ensure patient safety
• Assist with exams, treatments, and adverse event reporting
