The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Research Manager, UNLV International Gaming Institute (FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE ELIGIBLE).

Reporting to the IGI Director of Research, this role combines independent and collaborative work across the Institute's research portfolio with advanced data science and traditional methods. The position emphasizes leadership of research projects, training staff, and contributing to conferences and journals.

Qualifications

• PhD from an accredited college or university in gaming, hospitality, CS or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant research experience.
• Experience with Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with large high-dimensional datasets.
• Proficiency in Python and R; building research workflows and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead manuscripts, white papers, and policy briefs.
• Present findings to stakeholders and at conferences.
• Write grants and funding proposals.
• Supervise research staff (student workers, graduate assistants, postdocs).
• Assist editorial duties for the Gaming Research and Review Journal.
