Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Research Manager to lead and mentor a team of Research Associates. This role requires a blend of leadership, analytical expertise, and content creation skills. The ideal candidate will oversee the production of original, insightful research content, ensure team efficiency, and uphold our commitment to delivering top-tier financial analysis to our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Research Associates, providing guidance on research methodologies and content development.
  • Oversee the production of original research reports, white papers, and investment insights on topics including U.S. stocks, macroeconomic trends, and alternative investments.
  • Conduct high-level financial and macroeconomic research to identify emerging market trends and opportunities.
  • Review and edit research content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the company’s standards and brand voice.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define research priorities, content calendars, and long-term research strategies.
  • Monitor financial markets, economic indicators, and industry developments to provide timely and relevant insights.
  • Develop and maintain research templates, tools, and best practices to enhance team productivity and content quality.
  • Train team members on financial modeling, data analysis, and research presentation techniques.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration to align research outputs with business objectives.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Research Associate or Analyst.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Experience in producing research content such as market reports, investment strategies, and white papers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Progress toward or completion of CFA or CAIA credentials is a plus.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
