University of New England seeks an early‑career laboratory technician or master’s‑degree qualified laboratory manager to support the Harrison Lab. The role supervises undergrads, maintains operations, and ensures stocked supplies while keeping detailed records and solving problems.
Responsibilities include preparing reagents, equipment maintenance, data analysis, histology, qPCR, and tissue culture with neuronal cell lines. Strong organizational skills and independence are essential.
We are seeking an early‑career laboratory technician or master’s degree qualified laboratory manager to provide laboratory support for the Harrison Lab. The position will supervise undergraduate laboratory projects, maintain laboratory operations, manage inventory and purchasing, and ensure supplies are appropriately stocked. The successful candidate will keep accurate, organized, and detailed laboratory records and demonstrate strong critical thinking, adaptability, independent work, and a willingness to learn.
