- Perform advanced cell culture techniques with multiple cell types including epithelial, stromal, and endothelial cells from both human and animal sources
- Conduct multi-parameter analyses including functional assays, mechanical testing, and multi-omics characterization
- Participate in experimental design and optimization for tissue engineering applications
- Provide technical guidance to other laboratory personnel
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Cell culture and tissue engineering techniques
- Biochemical and functional assay execution
- Biomaterials characterization
- Data collection and analysis for complex biological systems
This position offers unique opportunities to:
- Work with state-of-the-art organ-on-chip technology
- Contribute to the development of alternative testing methods that may reduce animal testing
- Participate in research that directly impacts medical countermeasure development
- Gain experience with cutting-edge multi-omics approaches and machine learning applications
- Join a collaborative research environment at a leading regenerative medicine institute
Background in cell biology, bioengineering, tissue engineering, or related fields required. Experience with biomaterials, transcriptomics/proteomics, or microfluidic systems is desired. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent documentation practices, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic research team.
