Job Summary Summary-Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, organizing and preparing samples, conducting experiments, and recording and analyzing data. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a grace period of six months from their hire date (up to 1 year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification.
Qualifications Established scientist in the field of blood coagulation research is looking for a bright and motivated individual to join the team as a technician. We are seeking candidates with excellent organizational skills and a strong background in biology and biochemistry. Duties will include approximately 80% bench science experiments and 20% lab management/administrative duties. No need-to-know specific experimental techniques (we will train you), though some prior experience in laboratory research will be viewed favorably. Teaching and mentorship are a priority for our lab, and we emphasize providing the skills necessary for our techs to take the next step in their careers, including medical school, graduate school, and industry.
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
Prior laboratory experience, either through academic coursework, internships, or employment 1-2 years preferred
