The General Hospital Corporation is seeking a Lab Operations Manager to oversee lab supply, equipment, and scheduling, supporting research faculty and programs at Mass General Brigham.
You will coordinate regulatory activities, guide staff in advanced techniques, and contribute to project development and publications while ensuring compliance and efficient operation.

Performs a variety of research and research administration activities in direct support of the Department's research faculty and programs. Responsible for managing the overall functioning of the research operation. Serves as a front-line resource for researchers in the Department, acting as liaison to internal administrative units and external sponsors on matters relating to research programs. Education Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes. Licenses and Credentials Experience Research experience (in a lab setting) 3-5 years required.
The Ragon BSL3 core provides biosafety level-3 laboratory space, training, and consultation for academic and industrial researchers working with risk group-3 pathogens. The BSL3 core currently hosts and facilitates research on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, flaviviruses, coronaviruses, mpox and Coccidioides spp. In addition to basic laboratory equipment, the BSL3 core is equipped with a confocal microscope, a flow cytometer/sorter and a ABSL3 facility. The Lab Operations Manager will assist the core director to ensure the facility is running at its full potential, train new core users, help with ongoing projects and development of new areas of research.
