Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures following dermatology research protocols with precision.
  • Prepare, process, and analyze tissue specimens, cultures, and clinical samples with thorough documentation.
  • Collect and document research data using LIMS and electronic records to ensure integrity.
  • Perform quality assurance checks and maintain records to meet regulatory standards.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform routine calibrations.
  • Assist design and execution of clinical studies, including recruitment support and data collection.
  • Analyze data with appropriate statistics and present findings clearly in reports and publications.
  • Manage laboratory inventory and optimize workflow for efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with team to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to biosafety and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Support preparation of study protocols, regulatory submissions, and audit-ready records.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Research Lab Associate II to join our dynamic dermatology research team in Detroit, United States.   • Collect, organize, and accurately document research data using laboratory information systems and electronic records to ensure data integrity
  • Perform quality assurance checks and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and research protocols
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation, performing routine calibration and preventive maintenance as needed
  • Assist in the design and execution of clinical research studies, including patient recruitment support, informed consent coordination, and systematic data collection
  • Analyze research data using appropriate statistical methods and prepare clear, comprehensive findings for reports, presentations, and publications
  • Manage laboratory inventory efficiently, order supplies proactively, and optimize workflow to ensure seamless operations
