Job summary

Together AI, the AI Native Cloud, is seeking a Research Intern for the Model Shaping team in San Francisco. You will explore advanced post-training methods, efficient training systems, and robust evaluation of foundation models while collaborating with engineers and researchers.

The internship runs 12 to 14 weeks with dates spanning January 4th to April 9th, either in our San Francisco or Amsterdam Office. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS/EE with ML/DL knowledge

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, etc.).
• Familiarity with the Transformer architecture and foundation models.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement novel techniques in model shaping and training.
• Design and conduct rigorous experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Document findings in scientific publications and blog posts.
• Integrate research results into Together products.
