Job summary

Together AI is seeking a Research Intern for the Model Shaping team to advance methods across supervised learning, RL, and efficiency for training large models. You will help design experiments, validate hypotheses, and contribute to publications while integrating findings into Together products.

The internship runs 12 to 14 weeks, with dates January 4 to April 9, in San Francisco or Amsterdam, offering housing stipends and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Familiarity with Transformer architectures and foundation models.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement novel techniques in focus areas of model shaping.
• Design and conduct rigorous experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Document findings in scientific publications and blog posts.
• Integrate research results into Together products.
